Jorge Carneiro is a reputed "immunocartoonlogist". The "title" goes back to the period when he started working at the bench with the late Professor Mario Arala Chaves. When Professor Arala discovered that Jorge made comics and graphic novels as an hobby, they immediately engaged in the project of making an "Immunology comic book" . The idea was to teach the complexities of the immune system using adequate illustrations. The book was never finished but Jorge is now working on it again.
